Abstract: | In our family we keep an old statue of Green Tara, which has the following history. One of our distant ancestors had no children. Wishing to have one, he went to a temple to be given a consecrated statue of Green Tara. After this, he had many children. In our lineage, each generation had one son only. My father was the only son in his family. In our family we also have one brother and the rest are girls.
