About this item
Description: | This is a standard top-view video showing atomisation or nebulisation of 10μL water droplet induced by ZnO surface acoustic waves (from left side). The atomisation is induced by sub-nanometre amplitudes of surface acoustic waves interacting with water droplet, causing capillary waves on droplet surfaces and ejecting tiny (pL or nL) droplets with different sizes, forming a nano-volcano eruption. The video is not a composite and has not been enhanced. |
