Abstract: These are Silver plus performances from both participants. The vocabulary use is clear and well suited to the task, but it is not precise enough in terms of size, shape, position, orientation and colour to always convey the intended meaning. Turns are taken appropriately, though there are some interruptions. There is good collaborative questioning and response, though sometimes an assumption of understanding seems to be made when this is not justified, and this limits the effectiveness of their talk in completing the task. However, in most cases the level of understanding of the task partner is sought prior to moving the task forward. There is a strong focus throughout on achieving the aims of the task and active participation in the discussion by both partners.
