Abstract:	This presentation is a Silver plus performance. It is very naturalistic and warmly expressed, and the vocal presentation, though somewhat understated at times, is well modulated and clear. The speaker seems confident in the way that she uses her voice to project, with a variety of tone that enables her to be almost conversational. Eye contact is used effectively. The vocabulary choice is appropriate, if not very imaginative. Though the content conveys a suitable message, more attention could have been given to including a wider range of suitable subject matter. It also seems that the presentation has not been planned to fulfil the remit of a 2-minute presentation (it is just over one minute long). An understanding of the needs of the audience is clear throughout, with an informal, inclusive approach, as in the use of ‘trust me’. Though not ‘lively’ in the sense of physical movement or the use of many rhetorical techniques, it is nevertheless engaging, and quite informative. The speaker does not seem nervous in handling this kind of talk situation.
