Abstract: By three-algebra ABJM theory I refer to any \N=6 supersymmetric Chern-Simons matter theory. In this talk I show that if a three-algebra ABJM theory has a covariantly constant unitary monopole operator carrying two symmetric three-algebra indices, then this implies that this ABJM theory has hidden N=8 supersymmetry.
