Abstract: | The McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research celebrated Colin Renfrew's 80th birthday and his life in archaeology a day early on Monday, 24 July with an afternoon of talks and presentations from past and present colleagues, students, friends and family.
The presentation topics were wide-ranging, from discussing Colin's seminal academic works and his influence on a generation of archaeologists to his support of the visual arts; from memories of excavations and fieldwork to his fondness for dancing.
