Abstract: | We live in a world of changes. Global climate change has started to have a serious effect on human populations. Biodiversity loss, deforestation, freshwater availability, and land system changes are some other types of global change that are partly linked to overconsumption of several types of resources. We will discuss how these global changes are already affecting human populations, what are the foreseen increased risks of disasters in the near future, and what might be some solutions. |
