With a small grant from private donors in August 2010, Libu Lakhi, a local native, was able to organize and hold this song and dance competition performance. This song and dance competition was held in Dashui Village, Xichang City in Sichuan Province with the objective of revitalizing local traditional cultures in their own context by rewarding a small amount of money to excellent singers with the aim of stimulating local people, especially the young generation, to pay attention to their traditional culture.

| Abstract: | This collection contains two movies (each approximately an hour long) of cultural revitalization activities held in Dashui Village (Minsheng Township, Xichang City, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, PR China). In 2010, a story-telling competition and a folk-song singing competition were held in Dashui Village to encourage use of the Namuyi language and pride in local traditions. The story-telling competition contains seven stories in the Namuyi language. |
