Abstract: | This event, organised by the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Divinity, in partnership with Coexist House, examined:
The role scriptures play in motivating or justifying violence. How do the texts of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament relate to violence committed by Jews and Christians? Is there anything in the Qur'an that makes Muslims likely to perform acts of violence? How should one respond when someone expresses concerns about these texts? |
