Description: | Interviewing is often a strategy that teachers are very good at undertaking: we use effective speaking and listening as part of our professional 'toolkit' everyday, and so moving that into a research arena is a natural development. It is however worth noting that interviewing in research does require the development of some additional skills, such as question development. Listen to Professor John MacBeath discussing his approach to research interviews. (recorded 2007) |
