Description: | The study of the humanities can provide context, meaning and narrative to many of the cultural considerations that frame policy making. For example, the humanities offer insight into the motivations for human actions, political communication, and the politics of well-being, which contribute to a society based on a culture of democratic argument. The CSaP Annual Conference addressed the opportunities and also considered practical steps that can be taken to help increase the day-to-day interaction between research in the humanities and the work of government. |
